Artist Yumoto Teiko creates these one-of-a-kind Hina dolls called "Hinamame," with a delicate sense of color.

Born from a desire to cherish ancient Japanese traditions, customs, and aesthetics,
these Kimekomi Hina dolls are as adorable as small beans.

For their kimonos, we use vintage fabrics—
high-quality kimonos and textiles from before the early Showa era.
These rare and difficult-to-obtain items, such as Edo chirimen, delicate embroidery, and fine shibori,
boast colors, patterns, and textures not found in modern times.

The gentle expressions of the Hina dolls and Inubako (dog boxes) are
carefully hand-painted by a professional doll face artist.
Inubako have long been used in Hina Matsuri decorations
as auspicious symbols to pray for safe childbirth and good health.

The auspicious-themed ojiki (marbles) are
individually crafted from molds using stone clay.
When displayed on a beeswax-finished takatsuki (pedestal tray), they express a rich character.

The vermilion-lacquered bonbori (paper lanterns),
the imperial stands bordered with vintage fabrics from the prestigious Takimura Art Weaving,
and the mari (balls) with each lustrous silk thread carefully wound.
These delicately crafted miniature props add vibrant festivity.

For the golden folding screen, we commissioned gold leaf from Rekiseisha,
which possesses unique foil-stamping technology used by GUCCI and HERMES,
as well as by museums around the world.
The delicate diffuse reflection beautifully enhances the Hina dolls.
The back features carefully selected Chiyogami paper, creating a cheerful impression.

These are perfect not only as gifts for a child's first Hina Matsuri,
but also as a treat for yourself or as seasonal decorations.

The custom-made paulownia wood box can be used
not only for storage but also as a display stand.
Paulownia wood, excellent in insect-proofing, rot-proofing, and moisture-proofing, carefully protects the delicate Hina dolls.

Why not display them as casually as you would seasonal flowers
and create your own stylish Hina Matsuri?
