Artist Teiko Yumoto creates with her delicate sense of color,
One-of-a-kind Hina dolls, "Hinamame."

These small Hina dolls cherish ancient Japanese traditions and beautiful customs,
Yet can be casually displayed and enjoyed in modern living spaces.
The charm of "Hinamame" lies in the meticulous handwork down to the smallest detail.

These Kimekomi Hina dolls have an adorable, round shape, like beans.
Their costumes are made from rare antique fabrics,
Carefully preserved from the Meiji and Taisho eras to the early Showa period.
These high-quality fabrics, including Edo chirimen and those with delicate embroidery and shibori,
Were encountered in various parts of Japan.
Their unique colors, patterns, and textures add an elegant touch.

The gentle expressions of the Hina dolls and Inubako (dog boxes)
Are meticulously hand-painted by an artisan specializing in doll faces.
The auspicious-themed ojiki (marbles)
Are individually molded from stone clay,
And painted with soft, layered colors.
When displayed on a high stand finished with beeswax, they become even more expressive.

The wooden Hoju (sacred gem) and Hagoita (battledore) are also finished with intricate handwork.
The Hoju is a gem believed to grant all wishes.
It has long been used in family crests as a symbol of good fortune.
The braided cord tied to the Hagoita, which wards off evil, gently invites happiness.

The round tray base is made of solid Zelkova wood.
Finished with beeswax, it enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain.

For the gold screen, we commissioned gold paper from Reki-sha,
Beloved by people worldwide, including GUCCI and HERMES,
As well as renowned hotels and museums.
Their unique foil stamping technique, inherited from ancient Japanese aesthetics,
Maintains its dignified brilliance even with the passage of time.
The reverse side features modern and charming geometric patterns
Of Chiyogami paper, giving it a light and stylish impression.

"Hinamame" blends seamlessly with any interior, whether French or Nordic.

Not only is it a perfect gift for a child's first Hina-matsuri,
But it is also chosen by many as a reward for oneself, or as a seasonal decoration to enjoy, much like arranging flowers.

They are delivered in a custom-made Paulownia wood box.
Paulownia wood, with its excellent insect-repelling, antiseptic, moisture-resistant, and flame-retardant properties,
Carefully protects the delicate Hina dolls.

It serves not only as a storage box but also as a beautiful display stand,
And is easy to take out and put away.
It's wonderful to be able to display them without feeling intimidated.

Why not subtly display them in your entryway or cabinet,
And create your own stylish Hina-matsuri celebration?
