Artist Teruko Yumoto creates unique Hina dolls,
called "Hinamame," with a delicate sense of color.

These small Hina dolls cherish ancient Japanese traditions and beautiful customs,
yet can be easily displayed and enjoyed in modern living spaces.
The charm of "Hinamame" lies in the handcrafted details.

These kimekomi Hina dolls have an adorable, bean-like rounded shape.
For their kimonos, rare antique fabrics passed down from the Meiji and Taisho eras to the early Showa period are used.
Edo chirimen and high-quality fabrics with delicate embroidery and shibori,
were sourced from various regions across Japan.
Their unique colors, patterns, and textures add an elegant touch.

The gentle expressions of the Hina dolls
are meticulously hand-painted by a specialist doll painter.
The two mari balls, wishing for "good relationships" and "harmony,"
are carefully wound with lustrous silk threads, one by one.
The auspicious motif of the ohajiki pieces
are individually molded from stone clay
and layered with soft colors.

The base is made of solid cherry wood and finished with beeswax,
highlighting the beauty of its natural texture.

We also recommend adding small accessories such as folding screens and hagoita bats
to create your preferred display.
This season, we have prepared two types of accessory sets available for separate purchase.
By collecting them gradually over the years,
you can enjoy the evolving display and cherish it for a long time.

"Hinamame" blends seamlessly with any interior, be it French, Scandinavian, or other styles.

They are not only popular as gifts for a child's first Hina Matsuri,
but also as a treat for oneself or as a seasonal decoration to enjoy like arranging flowers.

They are delivered in a custom-made paulownia wood box.
The paulownia wood, which is excellent for insect, decay, and moisture protection, and is flame-resistant,
will carefully protect the delicate Hina dolls.

It serves not only as a storage box but also as a beautiful display stand,
and is easy to take out and put away.
It's nice to be able to display them casually.

Why not subtly display them in your entryway or on a cabinet
and create your own stylish Hina Matsuri?
