With this in mind, she created Chinese zodiac dolls that can be casually displayed and enjoyed, just like seasonal flowers.

The Chinese zodiac for 2027 is the Sheep (Hitsuji),
considered a lucky symbol that brings safety to the household and blessings in human connections.
Using the traditional craft of kimekomi, the Sheep doll is crafted from vintage fabric over a base made of precious powdered paulownia wood,
giving it Hinamame's signature vibrant colors and a charmingly rounded form.

"Red Plum Blossoms" to Bring Happiness

A vibrant color scheme featuring plum blossoms on a red base.
Many customers have requested red, making this a highly popular piece.
Accents of light blue and orange create a richly colorful expression.

The head features a knot symbolizing "dreams coming true,"
while the sides are adorned with golden plum blossom knots symbolizing "forming bonds."

Delicate Colors and Textures Born Only from Time-Worn Fabric

Hinamame's charm lies in its uniquely beautiful colors.
The pieces are made from "kobuse," vintage kimonos and fabrics dating back to the early Showa era.
Among them, Edo chirimen and high-quality kimonos from the Meiji and Taisho eras are rare treasures,
featuring delicate patterns, embroidery, and intricate tie-dye techniques
that possess a beauty not found in modern fabrics.

Small Yet Sturdy Custom-Made Paulownia Box

The doll is delivered in a paulownia box crafted by the same artisan
who has been serving Ms. Yumoto's family for generations.
Paulownia wood is insect- and rot-resistant, flame-retardant, and moisture-resistant,
safely protecting your precious doll.

The base is placed in a silk pouch and stored inside the box.
Once it arrives, you can display it right away.

Authentic Japanese Style for French Living
