There are no specific rules for choosing the size of a medallion, but we recommend choosing one that is slightly larger than the diameter of the chandelier you will be attaching it to.

The larger the ceiling surface, the larger the curtain you should choose, and the smaller the curtain for a small space.
If the ceiling is high and you are installing it in an open space, it is best to choose a size that matches the ceiling rather than one that matches the size of the chandelier.
