* After arriving in Japan, the product is waterproofed by Brand Julie. It is less likely to get stained even if you place wet items on it, and is less likely to get scratched than previous products. However, if you place hot items on it, it may get deformed, so please be careful.

*The waterproofing applied in Japan is a simple waterproofing, so if water is spilled on the product, it will naturally soak in after about an hour. If it were completely waterproofed, it would give off a glossy shine and ruin the texture, so we only use a simple waterproofing.

*It has a natural finish to give it an antique look. Scratches and stains that look like they have been worn have been painted on. If you look closely, you will see that they have been painted with a brush.

*Please use it with a mat or tablecloth. It will become a real antique as it ages.

*Repeated wiping with water can cause the wood to dry out and crack. There are treatments available to prevent this, but we do not use such treatments as they can give the wood a glossy or shiny appearance that does not give it an antique feel. We recommend wiping the wood with a dry cloth.
