Hinamame is a type of chick bean.
Dressed in elegant costumes by artist Teiko Yumoto,
This is a one-of-a-kind Hina doll in the world.

This Hina doll is cute with its round, bean-like shape.
You can enjoy a five-person decoration in a small space by placing them on a tray or something similar.

We want to cherish Japan's ancient traditions, beautiful customs, and aesthetic sense.
With this in mind, we decorate with seasonal flowers.
We have created a Hina doll that can be easily displayed and enjoyed.

It is called old cloth.
The kimonos and fabrics used up until the early Showa period are used.
Among them, Edo Chirimen
High-quality antique kimono fabrics from the Meiji and Taisho eras are
Delicate patterns, embroidery, fine shibori, etc.
The colors, patterns and textures that are not available in today's products are popular.
This is a rare item that is not often available on the market.

The kimono is made of Edo Chirimen and embroidered with real gold thread.

Even the small items such as wooden shuttlecocks and balls are carefully handcrafted.
The charm of this ball lies in its delicate pattern made from silk thread.
It also comes with a base so you don't have to worry about it rolling around.
On the oil lamp paper
We use handmade Japanese paper that has safflower mixed in.

The dog box and marbles made of stone clay
Each one is carefully crafted from scratch.
Auspicious and adorable motifs will add color to Hinamatsuri.

Inubako (dog box) has been widely used as a decoration for the Hinamatsuri festival since ancient times.
A pair of small boxes in the shape of a male and female dog, each with a baby's face.
Dogs are a symbol of safe childbirth and puppies are said to grow strong and healthy.
They were displayed as talismans to pray for safe childbirth and good health.
In the past, the dog facing left was a male dog, and it was used to enshrine amulets for safe childbirth.
Apparently the one facing right is a female dog and makeup tools were stored inside.

The stand on which the marbles are displayed is finished with beeswax.
The natural feel of wood is irresistible.

Chigibako boxes are known as lucky charms at Shiba Daijingu Shrine and have been around since the Edo period.
It is decorated with wisteria flowers and makes a soothing rattling sound when shaken.
The word "Chiki" translates to "Sengi" (a thousand clothes), so the number of clothes increases.
It is said that it protects women's happiness and brings them good fortune in finding a partner.
It is not a common item for Hina dolls.
They are very cute and are arranged in the style of Hina beans to be used as tools.

This gold folding screen was created in collaboration with Rekiseisha, a company that has been in business for over 100 years.
I use vintage gold leaf paper from about 30 years ago.
The diffuse reflection makes the Hina dolls look beautiful.
The back side is finished with carefully selected chiyogami paper.
