The new chandelier, making its debut in Japan,
is an exquisite piece showcasing techniques that only Astier can achieve.

This chandelier inherits the legacy of Canopy, a New York manufacturer.
It all started when it was used in a store in Paris,
and now, to preserve the craftsmanship, it is produced in Astier's workshop.

Each individual small part is made by hand by artisans
using clay in an atelier in Paris, just like tableware.
Astier's white, with its exquisitely applied glaze,
delights with the beautiful shadows like a work of art.

Made using traditional French manufacturing methods,
everything is handcrafted by artisans,
resulting in a deep, rich character in the unique distortions of handmade pieces.

Each part is spun by hand,
showcasing the unique skills of the artisans.

＊About Chandelier Installation＊

Installation work must be performed by a qualified electrician.
Please consult and request services from your nearest electrical contractor or a contractor with experience in installing imported lighting fixtures.
DIY installation by amateurs is extremely dangerous and should never be attempted.
(Reference installation cost: ¥15,000 to ¥16,000)

If you cannot find an electrical contractor, please contact us and we will do our best to introduce you to contractors in your vicinity.

Additionally, for customers from Kobe City to the northwest of Osaka City,
we can introduce an installation contractor.
You will then directly arrange a date and time with the contractor at a later date.

＊About the Fixture＊

No special reinforcement work is required.
This is a hook-type chandelier.
The round metal fitting is hung on a hook installed in the ceiling.
(The hook is not included with the product as its size varies depending on the ceiling type. Please ask the installation contractor to provide it.)
Once the cover is attached, this part will not be visible.

This fixture is designed so that it will not light up
unless the metal fitting and the light bulb make direct contact.
Therefore, due to shaking during transport, the chandelier's socket cover may sometimes lift up.
When the installation is complete and you are attaching the chandelier bulb,
push the socket all the way down and attach it firmly with a bit of force.

The light bulb is an E26 base LED bulb.
Japanese-made ones are commercially available at electronics retailers, etc.
