While respecting tradition, it features a subdued and moderately ornate design,

Since being captivated by 19th-century French antiques imported when we opened our store,
we have long searched for such products.
However, due to their rarity and limited availability,
we decided to recreate them in a style suited for Japan.

It combines a beautiful, new condition with an antique atmosphere,
making it highly recommended for those who previously had reservations about antiques.
It exudes a sense of solidity and will lead to a sophisticated adult room.

We have integrated traditional European designs into modern interiors that blend seamlessly with Japanese rooms.
This is the Louis XVI style, without cabriole legs.
Its characteristic feature is the elegant, rounded curve on both sides.

Aiming for antique furniture, we create our pieces using the same construction methods as around the 1800s.
Therefore, chemical treatments such as waterproofing are kept to a minimum, and the finish is applied to avoid a glossy appearance.
We aim for the furniture to develop its character through use with dry wiping,
allowing you to enjoy its aging.

While it is perfectly fine to use care oils or waxes,
the color will deepen the more you apply them.
We recommend trying it in an inconspicuous area
and enjoying the changing color.

If you wipe the top with a wet cloth every time, it will crack after a few years.
To prevent cracking,
painting and finishing with varnish will easily stop it,
but it will become quite glossy and have the finish of a common mass-produced item.
With such a finish,
scratches will just be dirty scratches, and aging will just be plain old.

This is a very important mark introduced by the Indonesian government for the protection of the earth's nature. It certifies that there is no illegal logging and that the wood is sourced from plantations rather than natural and protected forests.

*Blanc de Juillet applies waterproofing after arrival in Japan.
Since it is simple waterproofing, moisture will naturally soak in after about 1 hour if spilled.
Complete waterproofing would result in gloss and luster, diminishing the texture, so we use simple waterproofing.
Compared to conventional products, it is less prone to stains and scratches, but please be careful as hot items may leave marks.
*Please note that there are individual differences in the appearance of wood grain.

*The construction of these doors is structurally difficult, and curved doors in particular are extremely challenging. There may be subtle differences in how the two doors meet, but please enjoy this as a characteristic of the product.

*The hardware parts of the door are designed with a slight allowance for movement. There may be some shifting during delivery or use, but you can use it without problems by slightly moving the receiving hardware (top/bottom).

*When opening the doors or drawers, there may be a smell of wood or paint. This will naturally disappear after a certain period of use, but if you are concerned, please use a commercially available deodorizer. Please understand that the product has been stored appropriately in the warehouse.

*Since solid wood is used, the wood may expand or contract with the seasons. (Contraction in winter due to dryness, expansion in summer due to humidity) Therefore, no guide rails are installed. Please note that the drawers may become difficult to open and close if the wood expands. Please open and close carefully with both hands.

*Cracking may occur depending on the moisture level in the air. Solid wood adapts to environmental humidity, temperature, and exposure to sunlight, so it may continue to move for many years if placed in a brightly lit area or too close to heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.

This is to make minor cracks less noticeable
or to prevent minor cracks from occurring by hardening them with a coating material.

is different from generally distributed furniture.
We create it with the concept of becoming antique in the future.
Coating would eliminate the natural texture of the material,
so we do not apply any special coatings and create it using traditional methods passed down from the 1800s.

There is no solid wood that will absolutely not crack.
Even if dried for decades during the manufacturing process, cracks can occur due to shrinkage.
To minimize cracking as much as possible,
although there are individual differences, please be careful to keep it from drying out.

Upon arrival, it is inspected by furniture specialists,
and before shipping, it undergoes a second inspection by the shipping company.
Those who are particular about minor details should refrain from applying.
