Beatrice LAVAL Paint Antalya Navy [5L]

This paint is a collaboration between Beatrice LAVAL in Paris and the paint brand Argile.
It's an acrylic paint with a velvet matte finish.
It's low-odor and water-based, so you can safely use it indoors.
No matter what the color of the base coat, applying two even coats will prevent the original color from showing through.

The colors are meticulously developed by Beatrice, a master of color, and offer professional quality.
While most walls in Japan are white,
adding these thoughtfully calculated colors can create a wonderful French ambiance.
Whichever color you choose,
it will be easy to incorporate into your interior design, expanding your options.

These colors are beautiful even when used alone.
While painting all walls in a room is an option,
painting just one wall is also a recommended way to create a focal point.

【How to Use】
・Prepare a brush, roller, spray gun, etc.
・Remove any dirt from the surface to be painted and ensure it is thoroughly dry.
・Thoroughly cover any areas you do not wish to paint with masking tape, etc. (After painting, slowly peel off the tape before the paint completely dries.)
・Before opening the lid, shake the container well to ensure the contents are evenly mixed. Once opened, stir the paint thoroughly from the bottom with a stick or similar tool.
・If the paint is too thick and difficult to apply, thin it slightly with water. For a spray gun, dilute with water (5-10%).
*Be careful not to thin it too much. This can cause problems such as poor drying or discoloration.
・It dries in about 2 hours. Allow at least 6 hours before applying a second coat.
・Close the lid tightly after use. Also, wash used tools with water and use a neutral detergent if necessary.

【Substrate Preparation】
Depending on the material to be painted, proper substrate preparation can significantly improve the finish and durability.
For smooth surfaces such as metal, plastic, melamine boards, and existing paint films
　→ We recommend using Michakron (adhesion primer) to enhance paint adhesion.
For absorbent surfaces such as wood, concrete, mortar, and plasterboard
　→ Apply a sealer to prevent unevenness and color variation.
When painting over wallpaper
　→ For smooth wallpapers like vinyl wallpaper, paint adhesion can be difficult, so we recommend using an adhesion primer.
　→ For fabric/paper wallpaper or aged wallpaper, apply a sealer to stabilize the substrate before painting.

Painting without proper substrate preparation can lead to peeling, unevenness, and reduced durability.
To achieve a beautiful and long-lasting finish, please consider using a suitable substrate material for your painted surface.
Since the finish may vary depending on the condition of the substrate, always perform a test application in an inconspicuous area.
