Paint is a collaboration between Beatrice LAVAL of Paris and the paint brand Argile.
It is an acrylic paint with a velvet matte finish.
It is low-odor and water-based, so it can be safely used indoors.
No matter what the underlying color is, two coats will cover it evenly without the original color showing through.

This is a professional quality paint with colors carefully selected by Beatrice, the magician of colors.
Most walls in Japan are white, but
by adding carefully calculated colors, you can achieve a wonderful French style.
Whichever color you choose,

【How to use】
・Prepare a brush, roller, spray gun, etc.
・Remove dirt from the surface to be painted and dry thoroughly.
・Completely cover areas you do not want to paint with masking tape, etc. (After painting, slowly peel off the tape before the paint completely dries.)
・Before opening the lid, shake well to ensure the contents are evenly mixed. After opening, stir the paint thoroughly from the bottom with a stick or similar tool.
・If the paint is too viscous and difficult to apply, thin it slightly with water. For spray guns, dilute with water (5-10%).
*Be careful not to thin it too much. This can cause problems such as poor drying or discoloration.
・It dries in about 2 hours. Allow at least 6 hours before reapplying.
・Close the lid tightly after use. Also, wash used tools with water, and use a neutral detergent if necessary.


【About Substrate Preparation】
Depending on the material to be painted, substrate preparation can significantly improve the finish and durability.
Smooth surfaces such as metal, plastic, melamine board, and existing paint film
　→ We recommend using Michchakuron (adhesion primer) to improve paint adhesion.
Absorbent surfaces such as wood, concrete, mortar, and plasterboard
　→ Apply a sealer to prevent unevenness and color variation.
When painting over wallpaper
　→ For smooth wallpapers such as vinyl wallpaper, paint may not adhere well, so we recommend using an adhesion primer.
　→ For fabric/paper wallpaper or aged wallpaper, apply a sealer to stabilize the substrate before painting.

Painting without substrate preparation can lead to peeling, unevenness, and reduced durability.
To ensure a beautiful and long-lasting finish, please consider using a suitable primer for the painted surface.
Since the finish may vary depending on the condition of the substrate, always perform a test application in an inconspicuous area.

Non-toxic, low-odor paint containing a maximum of 30g/l volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
(EU limit value (catalog A/a) for this product: 30g/l (2010).)

*Avoid painting on days when the temperature is above 25℃ or below 10℃, or when the humidity is above 60%.

*When painting on wood, plastic, varnish, non-ferrous metals, etc., apply a primer first.

*Keep out of reach of children and pets.

*Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas.

*Do not dispose of leftover paint down the drain.

*When disposing, follow your local government's guidelines.
