ELUSIO Mirror Legions

Elusio was founded by Renaud, who studied art history at the École du Louvre in Paris, and Annick, who honed her skills as a restorer of ancient artworks.

These handmade art pieces, created using traditional French techniques and designs, are infused with a uniquely French aesthetic and color sense.

The Elusio collection, inspired by 17th to 19th-century designs, is produced in their studio in Spain.

The mirror's border features a classical and ornate, sophisticated design. The botanical design appears to be acanthus leaves. Among decorative leaf motifs, acanthus is popular in Europe, and ancient Greek culture is considered the origin of this decoration. It is a highly popular design, supported since ancient times, from Byzantine to Gothic styles, and revived during the Renaissance, continuing to be admired to this day.

The frame is a bright silver. The antique-style paint has depth, and its faded appearance, along with the exposed wood grain beneath, creates beautiful shadows from the carving. The combination with the light gray base is also very elegant.

This mirror will seamlessly blend into an authentic French classic space, adding spaciousness and a dignified atmosphere to your room.

As this is a very heavy item, reinforcement work is required if you plan to hang it directly on a wall. Even if you lean it against a wall, we recommend securing it to the wall using the fittings on the back.
