This collection is dedicated to Balthus, the master of 20th-century painting, who served as a creative father figure to Astier's designers, Benoît and Ivan.
The collaborative work with Countess Setsuko Klossowska de Rola, essayist and artist, who became the muse of the master Balthus, is titled SETSUKO.

This teapot features a cat, a motif beloved by Balthus.
The surprisingly cute cat's paw forms the spout, and a handle is attached to its back.
Its dignified back view is like a work of art.
The cat's face serves as the lid.

The "maneki-neko" (beckoning cat) evokes the sensibility of Setsuko, which is typically Japanese.
