Its enchanting, beautiful shape is the result of a highly meticulous process. Adhering to techniques from before the 19th century, it is handmade by artisans in Astier's workshop in Paris.

The material used is solid oak from Eastern Europe. To bring out the texture of the wood grain, it is finished naturally with casein, which has long been used as a paint, and wax.

Its lovely, bumpy, pearl-like silhouette is captivating the more you look at it. The edge of the woven seat is studded. The rustic seat and stylish trim strike an exquisite balance.

The Tudor-inspired design is classic yet simple and easy to incorporate. Since natural materials are used, even black does not become too overpowering and blends seamlessly into the room.
