Furniture care and waterproofing

After importing, waterproofing is applied in Japan, only to the top surface.
It is not completely waterproof, so the stains will naturally come off over years of use.
Please note that if left wet for a long period of time, the liquid may soak in.

If it were completely waterproof, not only would you not be able to enjoy the beauty of the natural aging of the wood,
This will give the fabric a subtle sheen and ruin the texture.
Also, even with waterproofing, the inevitable scratches will just end up being annoying and ugly.

All of the furniture from Brand Julie is made from solid wood, so
We have created this product to incorporate stains and dirt to give it an antique feel.
This product will become an antique in the future and you will be able to enjoy the texture that comes with age.

It is recommended to use a tablecloth as in the West, but
It has simple waterproofing to suit Japanese dining conditions.
