Thank you for always reading the Blanc de Juillet blog.
Popular brands at Blanc de Juillet, such as Astier de Villatte and Beatrice LAVAL,
are both brands from PARIS.
Did you know that some of their products have a connection to Japan?
Knowing more about a product makes you appreciate it even more.
Today, I'd like to introduce some of these items.
First, let's start with incense.

Benoît and Ivan of Astier were deeply impressed by the craftsmanship of a workshop making incense sticks in Awaji Island during their trip.
From then on, their incense has been made in Japan.
These are "Made in Japan" products.
The scents, however, are blended by a French perfumer to evoke the aroma of various cities,
so the fragrance carries the essence of Paris.

Incense named after cities around the world
You can feel like you're traveling the world through scents!
The Japanese cities handled by Blanc de Juillet are

OPJET PARIS Jute Placemat Flower Green
This is a planter pot named NARA.

It is inspired by the sacred ancient trees of Nara.

2M2 Artificial Flower Geranium Pot

The wood grain is delicately expressed,
and it really condenses the image of NARA, doesn't it?
And from Beatrice LAVAL~
A super cute Totoro cushion

"Totoro" from the name?
Many of you must have wondered if it's "that Totoro," right?
It seems the design was inspired by director Hayao Miyazaki's anime.
It's fluffy and incredibly comfortable to hug!
It's somehow simple yet adorable,
and Beatrice LAVAL's exquisite color palette really shines through.

Products have various stories!
And interiors too -
things inherited from parents, things bought on trips,
things chosen and bought by oneself, things made by DIY, and so on...
Various elements come together to create the history and story of an interior.
We hope you enjoy creating wonderful arrangements!
And we'd be delighted if Blanc de Juillet items could be a part of that.
We sincerely look forward to your visit.
