Ikat pattern is an Indonesian ethnic motif
Ikat is of Malay origin and refers to ikat fabric and its distinctive pattern.
There are traditional patterns and geometric designs that ward off evil and bring prosperity.
It depicts the customs, beliefs and lifestyles of the villages. 
There is also Ryukyu Kasuri in Okinawa.
