A Woman Living Alone | DIY Your Way to a Home You Can't Wait to Return To

A condominium apartment, like a Parisian apartment,
for a woman living alone.

Utilizing the items she has collected from Brandjulie and
antique furniture,
it's a home that continues to evolve with a chandelier and DIY,
making it "a home you want to return to."




The "Pavillon Platine" chandelier by Astier de Villatte,
which she daringly incorporated.
It fits perfectly with the size of the space,
bringing a luxurious splendor and height.




Brandjulie furniture and antiques collected over many years
are beautifully integrated.
Combined with the modernity of the Astier chandelier,
it creates a refined space unique to the present.




By re-evaluating the furniture arrangement,
a focal point (a visual highlight) was created in the room.

Centered around the chandelier, a console with a TV and wall sconces form a set of three focal points.
Even with the same furniture, changing the arrangement significantly alters the impression of the space.




The wall in the dining space
was DIYed by herself with Beatrice Laval's blue wallpaper.
She is a master of the Julie DIY department.

It highlights the antique display cabinet she searched for,
and creates depth in the space.






Slowly perfecting an evolving interior
is a basic principle of interior design that Brandjulie recommends,
to create a space that reflects one's personality.

She is currently planning to renew her curtains.
We brought samples of fabrics she liked, and she is currently finalizing her choice with Nakagawa.






She consulted with Nakagawa, of course, and also with the staff
in detail when purchasing small items.
She is very good at shopping.

Her DIY projects, in consultation with Nakagawa, are also noteworthy.
She enjoys creating a room filled with her "likes,"
such as using a stole as a curtain.




The antique cabinet placed in the kitchen
is luxuriously and stylishly appointed.

The stylish Beatrice wallpaper
matches beautifully with the classical antique furniture.
The Astier collection stored inside
is always ready for use, making everyday life very elegant and luxurious.






Her dedication to using things she likes is evident
even in the lovely washroom,
where she DIYed Beatrice Laval's purple wallpaper.

She installed it herself very neatly,
and I admire how much she enjoys her interior.
The layering with the black wallpaper in the hallway is also beautiful.






In the hallway and entrance, Beatrice's initiative design
black triangle wallpaper is used.
The contrast with the white fixtures creates a fresh and stylish impression.

The shoe rack was DIYed by herself using Beatrice's paint and wallpaper.








Just like the Brandjulie store's restroom,
a Beija Flor mat was laid out as if it were fitted.

It's fine if the edges are a little leftover.
Here too, the front wall features Beatrice wallpaper.
The green creates a refreshing and relaxing space.






We enjoyed tea in the wonderful space.




The curtains were tailored
from the fabric she chose during our visit.
With a proper quality befitting the high-quality space
and a stylish lightness, the space continues to evolve to its best.

replacing furniture should be the last step.
Consider the arrangement of existing furniture,
