The auspicious motif ohajiki (marbles) are individually made from modeling clay, cast from a mold, and then painted with soft, layered colors. When displayed on a beeswax-finished takatsuki (tall stand), they take on an expressive appearance. The hagoita (battledore) is a charm to ward off evil spirits. The design you receive will be a pleasant surprise. The knotted kumihimo (braided cord) gently invites happiness. The Chigibako is a good luck charm from Shiba Daijingu Shrine, passed down since the Edo period, and is still popular today for bringing good relationships.
