Blanc de Juillet original tablecloths are made with high-quality fabrics from mfta, a long-established French brand. You can now order your desired size! Since the size also changes depending on the atmosphere, please refer to the last image. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us. If the width of the fabric is more than 140cm, we will tailor it with a "picture frame finish" as shown in images 20-24. The length and ratio of the picture frame part will be calculated and tailored to be aesthetically pleasing based on the width. In the case of a picture frame finish, twice the amount of fabric required for the ordered size will be needed, so the price will be higher compared to tailoring within the fabric width, but the atmosphere will be more traditional and elegant compared to items within the fabric width. Additionally, a picture frame finish is possible even for sizes smaller than the fabric width. Please let us know if you would like a separate estimate. Some fabrics are treated with a water-repellent finish, while maintaining the rustic texture of linen. It's very convenient to wipe clean quickly. *New colors (saffron, tomato, bordeaux) are not water-repellent. You can choose from 7 colors selected by owner Nakagawa. We are particular about subtle differences to create a sophisticated impression, even with trendy colors. The colors of the thin trimming have also been carefully selected to match each fabric. This woolly processing is a unique technique not seen elsewhere. We work closely with the manufacturing workshop to achieve a beautiful finish. The Blanc de Juillet tag also serves as an accent. Tablecloths also come with a cute charm. It's random, so it's a surprise until it arrives! Matching placemats are also available. Using them together will allow you to enjoy a coordinated table. About Water-Repellent Finish

The water-repellent finish is only on the front side, and not applied to the stitching or the back side.

Care Instructions

For basic care, frequently wipe with a tightly wrung damp cloth. This prevents discoloration and darkening.

【Dry Cleaning】
Inform the cleaner of the fabric material. This ensures that detergents appropriate for the material are used, providing peace of mind. It can be dry cleaned 3-4 times without issue. The water-repellent effect lasts for about 2-3 years.

【Home Washing】
Liquid neutral detergent is recommended. Use a small amount of detergent and gently hand wash in lukewarm water (approx. 40 degrees Celsius or lower). Avoid rubbing as it can damage the fabric. Spin dry for a short time and hang to dry in a well-ventilated area in the shade. It can be washed approximately 5-6 times, and the water-repellent effect lasts for about 2 years.

【Home Drying】
Liquid neutral detergent is recommended. Use a small amount of detergent, spin dry for a short time, and hang to dry in a well-ventilated area in the shade. It can be washed approximately 2-3 times, and the water-repellent effect seems to last for about 2 years without issue.

If the Water-Repellent Effect Weakens?

The water-repellent effect can be somewhat restored by applying heat with an iron (no steam) using an ironing cloth.
