Astier de Villatte Colbert Planche 2

ASTIER DE VILLATTE
ASTIER DE VILLATTE

A premium ceramics brand with an atelier in Paris, where all products are handmade. It is widely known both in France and abroad.
Based on the concept of “art for everyday life,” its sophisticated designs are thin, light, durable, and perfect for daily use.

Colbert was the finance minister who served King Louis XIV of France.
He elevated French “beauty” into a national industry and laid the economic and cultural foundations
for the modern “art de vivre” (art of living).

He was the man who nurtured France’s “beautiful craftsmanship” into a national industry.
This way of thinking resonates with Astier’s philosophy.

A charming design shaped like a simple, elegant cutting board.
It offers endless possibilities,
from serving cheese and bread and hors d’oeuvres to presenting lunch plates.
