Achieving both an eye-catching design and stability was challenging,
but after designer Alain van Havre's efforts in varying leg thickness and arrangements,
it was successfully brought to life.
The name "Mikado" reportedly comes from a game from Japan
that uses bamboo sticks, popular in Europe.
The high-quality solid oak wood
is durable and develops a deeper character with age.
Enjoy its substantial, solid presence
and the increasing depth and warmth it gains with use.
Finished with hardwax oil,
it retains the natural feel of the wood while becoming resistant to water and stains.
